Carly’s passion for business and HR started early more than 15 years ago. She spent a decade at CIBC and Bank of America in both Canada and the US, working as an HR Business Partner and in HR Change Management. From there, she began Humani with the mission of creating a successful business with an incredible workplace, while in turn supporting clients who are doing the same.
Carly is passionate about helping founders and executives grow their companies by elevating their People Operations. As recognition for her success, she was awarded the Forty Under 40 Award in 2022 for Canada’s National Capital Region.
Outside of work, Carly loves spending time with her husband and their 3 young boys and staying active.
Amber Branny has more than 15 years of experience as a strategic HR leader. She has provided workplace wellness programs to national organizations and has overseen leadership development programs, employee engagement initiatives, and provided leadership support and change management initiatives.
Amber is passionate about bringing teams together as a facilitator and believes the benefit of being in the HR space is continuously learning and growing. She instructs those she works with to be receptive to change, increasing one’s resilience and supporting growth at all levels. Amber also has training certificates in Leadership and Conflict resolution, resiliency and mindfulness, and Executive Culture coaching.
When not at work, Amber loves to live adventurously with her husband and two daughters through traveling.
For more than a decade, Sara has served as an HR professional from the ground up. As a Senior HR Business Partner, she believes this field offers space for continuous growth and improvement. Ryan brings more than 15 years of experience in Finance and Capital Markets to Humani. His breadth of experience spans both large publicly traded companies as well as the successful buildout of startups in both the technology and consulting industries.
In addition to helping the Humani HR team expand to serve clients in both Canada and the US, Ryan works closely with the Leadership Team to tackle complex payroll, compensation, and corporate governance issues of our clients. He’s experienced many of these similar issues himself in building out his businesses and enjoys helping our clients in any manner he can.
In his spare time, Ryan loves spending time with family, playing golf, and working out.
Kyla is a seasoned strategic HR partner and people leader with strong business acumen and a proven track record of fostering solid relationships with her clients. With more than 14 years of HR experience in a variety of industries, Kyla excels in optimizing processes and translating business needs into actionable HR objectives.
A true generalist, Kyla’s experience spans all aspects of HR from employee relations and culture to talent acquisition, change management and health & safety.
