Jess is a senior communications strategist with a passion for helping clients uncover the most compelling, human-centric elements of what they do so they can build authentic connections with their audience.
With more than 9 years of experience, she’s worked in multinational agencies in both Toronto and Australia, and has serviced a diverse portfolio of clients across a variety of sectors including financial services, travel, transportation, education, FMCG, property and government.
Outside of the office, Jess is Mom to two young daughters. She loves cheering on her Toronto sports teams, listening to a good podcast or playlist on Spotify, and staying active outdoors with her family.
Jess is a true HR Generalist, comfortable working behind the scenes or in the Boardroom, and supports both first-time and senior-level executives in developing and executing their HR vision.
Jess has experience working in both provincial and federal sectors, managing Labour and Employee Relations, wellness initiatives, health and safety programs, and full-cycle recruitment efforts.
Outside of work, you can find Jess exploring the local hiking trails with her husband, hosting board game parties with friends, and trying to keep her new puppy from digging in the garden.
Joanna Rozycki
Joanna has spent a number of years working in the financial industry, but has always been drawn to the HR function, raising her hand to support a variety of initiatives including employee rewards and recognition, diversity, training and development, and workplace health and safety. Having worked and lived abroad, Joanna has a huge appreciation for organizations that value their employees, and is committed to helping clients build long-term relationships with employees through trust, transparency and professionalism.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and 2 young kids playing outside, and exploring her city and the world when possible. Joanna is also passionate about photography and freelances on the side.
Laura brings more than two decades of HR experience to her role as Senior HR Business Partner. She has worked nationally and internationally and in both the profit and not-for-profit sectors.
A true generalist with a passion for people, she enjoys supporting businesses to create and maintain places of work where people are excited by their job and happy to be a part of the organization. She does this by offering strategic support to leaders to cultivate a positive and open work environment, where employees feel valued and a part of something bigger.
Outside of work, she is a mom of boys and enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog, as well as travelling, music, good food and drink.
Lauren is a Human Resources professional with over 5 years of experience. She has experience in the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between. She enjoys working on any HR project that comes up, specifically working on policies and HR systems.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with family, binging crime shows, watching the animals that pass through her yard on a regular basis, and finding new quick and easy recipes to try.
With a strong background in HR and Consulting, Nicole has over 10 years of experience helping to plan and deliver people strategies for organizations of various sizes and across multiple industries.
Through her experience and education, Nicole truly understands all aspects of business, and can quickly identify the needs and complexities within an organization, helping leaders make the best HR decisions to support both their employees and company goals.
Nicole is a true generalist with experience in all functions of HR. She’s also a Prosci Change Management Certified Professional, and applies change management principles throughout all her HR practices.
Outside of work, Nicole can be found hiking a trail somewhere on the East Coast with her dog Luna, chatting and laughing with family and friends around the dinner table, or trying (and sometimes failing) at DIY projects around her house.
Rumana is an HR Business Partner with more than 7 years of Human Resources experience. She has worked at large multinational corporations and supported unionized and non-unionized environments within Canada and the USA. Rumana takes a straightforward approach to aligning business strategy and Human Resource practices and programs. She is drawn to the areas of Employee Relations Management, Health and Safety and Performance Management.
She is passionate about HR data analytics and implementing enhanced Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) that aim to transform the workplace into a more tech savvy collaborative environment.
Outside of work, she loves to read, travel and practice mindfulness by being still with nature.

Zoi is Humani's Office Manager. Her passion is to cheerlead others on and help them propel forward in their endeavors. With over 20 years of experience from working in the corporate world to working with one-on-one clients as a life coach, Zoi’s mission as Office Manager is to uphold Humani's values in creating wholesome work environments. Her focus is set on streamlining procedures, practices and communication.
Her interests are in human behaviour, creating healthy "work-life" balances, interpersonal relationships, instilling strong core habits and beliefs that motivate the individual to set the goals they have set for themselves in their day to day life and in their place of business.
Outside of work, Zoi likes to spend time with family, friends & her fur babies. She also enjoys latin dancing, cooking, the latest shows & movies, everything outdoors and curling up to a good book and a glass of Pinot Noir.
