Humani HR is a boutique Human Resources consulting firm that serves as business partners to executives of small and medium-sized businesses. We act as our client’s virtual Chief People Officer (vCPO) to support their varying HR needs including policy & handbook development, HR software implementation, performance management, compensation strategy, training & development, talent strategy, culture review and more.
We are looking to grow our team by adding a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our growing client base. This role is remote and flexible, but must have experience recruiting for roles in Ontario and across Canada.
If you’re an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist who is looking for an opportunity to work with a team of seasoned HR partners and own the recruitment strategy from start to finish, this is the role for you!
Your responsibilities as a Recruiter will include:
- Champion and execute full-cycle recruitment for multiple clients, tailoring the process to the needs of each unique client
- Conduct in-depth discovery meetings to understand needs and devise an appropriate sourcing strategy and market positioning for each role
- Write engaging job postings to catch top talent
- Post jobs on various platforms and utilize tools such as LinkedIn and boolean searches to reach passive candidates
- Manage client and external relationships to foster candidate sourcing, pipeline activities, and maintain integrity within the recruitment process
- Create a candidate-focused process to source, screen, interview, and communicate with candidates and our clients in a professional and respectful manner
- Coach clients on recruitment best practices to ensure a smooth interview process and communication with candidates
- Assess and utilize client software to create an efficient and diverse sourcing tool
Who You Are
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with high-volume recruiting for a wide variety of roles including tech roles
- Experience owning the recruitment process from start to finish utilizing various methods to attract active and passive candidates including headhunting and boolean searches.
- Experience building a unique recruitment strategy to suit client needs.
- Strong communication and time management skills. Each of our clients has a unique story and we need you to showcase this in order to source the best talent
- Strong aptitude to assimilate new technology. Many of our clients use specific sourcing tools. We don’t expect you to know them all but an understanding and interest to learn is key.
- Relationship Management experience, either through client support or by leading, managing and influencing other members of a team.
- Up-to-date on modern recruiting best practices and market trends.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter is a plus.

We are currently growing and are looking to grow our team with an HR Generalist to support the Senior HR Business Partners (HRBP). This role is remote and flexible, but must have experience practicing HR in Ontario.

What You Will Do
Compliance Support: Ensuring all HR processes are aligned with employment laws and issues, ensuring compliance standards are met for each jurisdiction.
Software Management: Review and manage client software updates, changes and spearheading implementation where necessary.
Recruitment Support: Support and manage the client recruitment efforts alongside the Senior HRBP including preparing job outlines, reviewing resumes, conducting preliminary interviews, coordinating client interviews and conducting reference checks.
Administrative Support: Supporting a variety of client HR programs in conjunction with the Senior HRBP including the review and development of performance management processes, supporting the analysis and design of compensation plans and additional ad hoc requests as needed. Assisting in KPI reporting and project tracking as required.
Who You Are
- A minimum of 2 years in a client-facing HR support role.
- A degree or diploma in HR or related field.
- CHRP designation is an asset.
- Self motivated and the ability to be flexible to meet client needs, deadlines and time management budgets.
- A true passion for HR: this means staying up to date with trends in the market and having an interest in how HR will evolve in 10 to 15 years from now.
- Organizational skills: clients rely on our team to be very organized and efficient about their approach to solving the client's problem and implementing the solutions.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: our team needs to interact with many of the client's employees at various levels of the organization and must provide exceptional and professional customer service at all times.
- Experience with HR systems & programs including: Microsoft Office, Google Drive, HR software.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- A working knowledge of project management principles and best practices.
- Change Management experience is ideal.

We are looking for a full-time Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) who will be responsible for their own client base. Ideally, you have in-depth compensation experience and/or a mind for data analytics.

Your responsibilities as a Senior HR Business Partner will include:
- Acting as the go-to HR business partner for multiple clients.
- Analyzing the client’s current HR programs and designing the HR roadmap for clients, based on their engagement specifics.
- Working on client files with more complex compensation projects and data analytics required.
- Ensuring the organization meets compliance standards for their jurisdiction.
- Developing, reviewing, and applying HR policies and procedures where necessary.
- Ensuring HR agendas are aligned with employment law issues.
- Reviewing HR software and processes, spearheading implementation when necessary.
- Reviewing and/or developing performance management processes in line with current best practices.
- Designing compensation plans based on market data and industry standards.
- Managing employee relations issues as they arise.
- Providing coaching and mentorship to management & employees.
- Creating and delivering HR related training sessions.
- Attending virtual meetings with the client’s executives and employees.
- Acting as the lead relationship manager between Holm & Company and our client’s C-Suite.
Skills Required:
- Listening, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills: HRBPs need to interact with many of the client's executives and employees on a regular basis. As such, effective communications skills and heightened self-awareness are a must.
- Self-motivation and self-discipline: This is a highly autonomous role where HRBPs work independently supporting clients and must be self-motivated to complete work in a timely manner with minimal oversight. We aren’t just strategic partners – we do the work and give our clients full white glove service.
- Organizational skills: Clients rely on our HRBPs to be organized and efficient with their approach to solving their problems and implementing solutions.
- Analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking: HRBPs need to be able to absorb a great deal of information about the client's business and what they are looking for Holm & Company to accomplish for them. This then needs to be analyzed to make clear recommendations, followed by execution of the solution.
- Time Management: HRBPs must actively manage their time to meet deadlines and remain within the client's budget.
- Creativity: We’re looking for outside the box thinkers! Our HRBPs have the flexibility and creativity to handle any situations that arise while implementing solutions for the client.
- Responsive and flexible: We provide autonomy and flexibility over planning your schedule, but in turn expect you to be available and responsive to clients needs as they arise.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 7 years of client-facing HR business partner experience.
- Experience building HR systems and processes from scratch.
- Strong aptitude to assimilate new technology. Excellent spreadsheet and presentation making capabilities are a must. We use the Google family of products (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides), but experience with these particular products is not necessary as long as you are able to seamlessly transition to them from other similar products you may have used (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Relationship Management experience, either through client support or by leading, managing and influencing other members of a team.
- Up-to-date on HR best practices and current market trends.
- Change Management experience is a plus.
